BME Highlights

  • The Warner Bros feature film release "American Pastime," starring Gary Cole, Aaron Yoo (Disturbia) and Sarah Drew is now available on pay-per-view and DVD.  ALAN BREWER served as Music Producer/Supervisor, arranging and producing several 1940's style jazz tracks for the film.  Two songs written and performed by MATT KING were used in the film, as well.  This deep and poignant film tackles the subject of Japanese-Americans interned at a U.S. government camp in Utah during WWII.  "American Pastime" features lot of jazz and lots of baseball.
  • The ASHLEY JUDD starring film, "Come Early Morning," featuring an original score composed and produced by ALAN BREWER received rave reviews and is now available on Weinstein/Genius DVD.  Set in a small town in Arkansas, the film was written and directed by "Chasing Amy" and "Big Daddy" star, JOEY LAUREN ADAMS.  The soundtack album, featuring Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, Merle Haggard, Billy Joe Shaver, and Eric James Jochmans, contains nine tracks from Brewer's original score.  The soundtrack CD is available on Lakeshore Records and is also available for download on iTunes and other web sources.
  • Independent artist KEITH CHAGALL, whose latest album includes three songs produced by BME’s Alan Brewer, enjoyed the highest-charting, longest-running independent artist release in the history of the industry insider FRIDAY MORNING QUARTERBACK AC RADIO CHART, sitting in the Top 5 along with Los Lonely Boys, Hoobastank, Maroon 5, and Five For Fighting.  Brewer worked with Chagall on the George Harrisonesque “Out Of The Night,” the Oasis influenced “Lilac” and the post-grunge “Share.”
  • Alan Brewer completed production (along with his co-producer Doug Johnson) on new Curb-Asylum Records act COWBOY CRUSH, an all-girl country band that is making big waves with their energetic performances across the country.
  • BME client Joe Wolfe shows his wide range of musical abilities, contributing the only original song for the Sc-Fi Channel’s hit movie “The Hidden Secret of M. Night Shyamalan” (ala Massive Attack style), a smooth jazz track for the USA Studios movie “Bugs,” and quirky cues for CMT’s Greatest Road Trips - creating all those while on tour programming for EARTH, WIND & FIRE.
